Author/Illustrator Bio

  • Alison Fletcher was born and raised in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. As a child she loved to play outdoors and go on adventures with her faithful dog, a golden retriever-Labrador mix. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts, Alison moved to New York City, where she currently works as a children’s book editor.
  • Christopher Lyles is a professional illustrator who spends much of his time working in a variety of media and exploring new fields. Since graduating with an MFA in Illustration, he has contributed to children’s publications, greeting cards, editorial illustrations, and gallery installations. He lives in the small town of Simsbury, Connecticut, with his wife, two children, and dog, Riley. He likes hiking, exercising, traveling, teaching art to children, and looking for old stuff.
